Ghanaian midfielder Raymond Gyamfi has moved to Armenian Premier League side Shirak Gyumri, making his first appearance as a substitute.
Ghanaian midfielder Raymond Gyamfi has officially joined Shirak Gyumri for the 2026-27 season. The midfielder arrived at the Armenian Premier League club on 14 August 2026 to bolster the squad for their domestic campaign.
This transfer marks the first time the Ghanaian player has moved into Armenian football. He has been assigned the number 90 shirt for the club as they navigate the early stages of the current season in the country's top division.
Gyamfi has already made his first recorded contribution for the side following his registration. He has featured in one Premier League match so far, appearing as a substitute. During this appearance, the midfielder played a total of 30 minutes.
While he has entered the pitch from the bench, Gyamfi has yet to be included in a starting eleven for a league match. His arrival provides Shirak Gyumri with an additional option in the midfield department as the club continues its programme of squad changes for the remaining fixtures of the season.
The 2026-27 campaign is the first season in which Gyamfi's involvement with the club has been recorded. He remains a new addition to the squad as they compete in the Armenian Premier League.
