Ruan Rispel to fight Tafadzwa Mushando for ABU SADC title

Namibian professional boxer Ruan Rispel is scheduled to return to the ring on 26 September to challenge Zimbabwe's Tafadzwa Mushando. The two fighters will compete for the ABU SADC Super Lightweight title in a 10-round contest.

The championship bout is set to take place in the 63.5kg division at the Adansonia Hotel in Francistown, Botswana. This event, titled The Gold Rush 2.0: ABU SADC Championship, is being organized by Perfect Punch Promotions.

Rispel, who is considered a rising prospect within Namibian boxing, aims to establish his presence on the regional stage through this championship encounter. The official weigh-in for the title fight will occur at the Adansonia Hotel on 25 September at 11h30.

The event card also features the return of Namibian champion Flame Nangolo, known as “Special One.” Nangolo is scheduled to face Zimbabwean boxer Jeremiah Mhere on the undercard. This match represents a comeback for Nangolo, marking his return to competitive boxing after a period away from the sport as he starts a new phase of his career.
