Swedru All Blacks bid farewell to Rudolf Mensah

Swedru All Blacks have officially thanked striker Rudolf Mensah following his departure to Egyptian Premier League side El Qanah FC.

Swedru All Blacks have officially bid farewell to forward Rudolf Junior Nana Mensah. The 24-year-old striker is leaving the club to join El Qanah FC in the Egyptian Premier League.

In a message shared on social media, the club expressed their gratitude to the player for his contributions. They thanked him for every goal and every battle he fought while wearing the club badge. The All Blacks stated that they wish him success and greater achievements as he begins this new chapter of his career, noting that the club will always be home to him.

Mensah was a central figure in the club's recent rise. During the 2024/25 Division One League season, he scored 27 goals in 30 appearances. This prolific scoring record was instrumental in powering the Swedru-based side to promotion, ending a 16-year period away from the top flight.

His new destination, El Qanah FC, is located in Ismailia. The Egyptian side recently secured their own place in the Egyptian Premier League after winning the 2025–26 Egyptian Second Division A title.

The departure of the forward leaves a significant void in the Swedru All Blacks attacking department. Having relied heavily on his goal-scoring ability to reach the top tier, the club now faces the task of finding a suitable replacement. This recruitment will be a priority as they prepare for the upcoming 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
