Cristiano Ronaldo received a warm reception from his Al Nassr teammates and head coach Ange Postecoglou upon his return to training. The Portuguese forward rejoined the squad just two days after his wedding to Georgina Rodriguez in Portugal.

Before training commenced for the new Saudi Pro League season, Postecoglou addressed the players and directed attention toward the captain. The marriage took place on August 11 during a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal. Their five children were present for the event. The couple confirmed the union by sharing a photograph of their matching wedding bands, following a relationship that has lasted nearly ten years.

Following the celebrations, Ronaldo has refocused on his duties with Al Nassr. Postecoglou signaled the end of the festivities by telling the squad that the league starts today. The captain is now preparing to lead the team through the upcoming Saudi Pro League campaign.

In addition to team responsibilities, Ronaldo is working toward the milestone of reaching 1,000 career goals. He returns to football duties in Saudi Arabia with this personal target alongside his professional obligations for the club.
