Almere City FC secured a 3-1 victory over Jong PSV Eindhoven in the Eerste Divisie at the Yanmar Stadion. Emanuel Poku provided the decisive contribution with a second-half goal to ensure the home side took all three points.
The match began with an immediate breakthrough for the hosts. Byron Burgering found the net only two minutes after kickoff to give Almere City an early advantage. However, Jong PSV responded quickly to the setback, with Fabio Kluit scoring in the ninth minute to level the match. The contest remained balanced throughout the first period, with neither side able to break the deadlock before the interval.
Almere City regained control shortly after the second half commenced. In the 49th minute, Emanuel Poku received an assist from Burgering and finished to restore the lead for the home team. The 21-year-old forward, who was deployed on the left side of the attacking unit, played a significant role in shifting the momentum back to Almere City.
