Amanda Serrano earns 50th win in majority decision over Manzur

Amanda Serrano reached 50 professional wins by edging Lucrecia Manzur on points and retaining her unified WBA, WBO and Ring featherweight titles.

Amanda Serrano secured the 50th victory of her professional career by beating Argentina’s Lucrecia Manzur via majority decision in Temecula, California. The Puerto Rican retained her unified featherweight championships from the WBA, WBO and The Ring after the judges scored the contest 116-112 twice and 114-114.

The result improved Serrano’s record to 50-4-1, including 32 knockouts, while Manzur moved to 14-5 with seven stoppages. Manzur entered the bout as the WBO’s number two-ranked contender and kept the champion under pressure throughout the 12-round contest at Pechanga Resort Casino.

Manzur’s strongest spell came in the fourth round, when she backed Serrano towards the ropes with sustained attacks. Serrano answered with body punches and accurate countershots, then built momentum as the fight progressed. Manzur remained competitive through the final bell, but two judges gave Serrano a four-round advantage.

The bout also marked a milestone for women’s boxing. It was the first unified women’s world championship fought over 12 rounds of two minutes each. The main event was also the first championship boxing event broadcast live on TikTok.

Serrano’s victory extended her reign over the 126-pound division while giving her a landmark 50th professional win. Manzur’s pressure made the contest close on the cards, but Serrano’s work to the body, counterpunching and stronger finish were enough to preserve all three featherweight titles.
