Anthony Wint to face Terrance Chatman at UFC Sacramento

Dana White's Contender Series winner Anthony Wint has secured his UFC debut against Terrance Chatman. The heavyweight bout is scheduled for August 22 at the Golden 1 Center during UFC Sacramento.

Wint enters the promotion with a 7-0 professional record. He earned his contract by headlining the first episode of Dana White's Contender Series Season 10 on Tuesday. During that performance, he finished Matt Adams via ground n' pound in just 34 seconds.

His opponent, Terrance Chatman, holds a 5-1 professional record. Chatman is a veteran of Fury FC, where he has competed throughout his professional and amateur career. He most recently secured a victory against Juan Torres in July via a leg kick TKO.

The matchup brings the two fighters together after Wint's rapid rise through the Contender Series. Interestingly, three of Wint's previous professional bouts also took place under the Fury FC banner. Wint will face Chatman less than two weeks after his performance in the Contender Series.

UFC Sacramento will feature middleweight action as the headlining attraction. The event marks the promotion's return to Sacramento, California.
