Arsenal exploring potential move for Victor Osimhen

Arsenal are investigating the possibility of signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer. The Premier League champions have identified the Super Eagles forward as a target to strengthen their attacking options.

Discussions regarding Osimhen have emerged alongside Arsenal's ongoing talks with Galatasaray concerning Martin Nwaneri and Gabriel Martinelli. While the exact nature of the interest remains unclear, a potential deal could involve a player exchange. Galatasaray are interested in signing Martinelli to increase their attacking depth, and a deal could be reached if the Brazilian moves to the Turkish champions alongside a cash payment from Arsenal.

Galatasaray may consider a transfer involving a €70m offer plus Martinelli to facilitate the move. This follows the Turkish club's previous decision to reject a €130m bid from Al-Hilal for the striker. Galatasaray paid €75m to secure Osimhen permanently from Napoli last summer.

Osimhen currently has three years remaining on his contract with Galatasaray and has previously indicated his loyalty to the club. However, the striker has also expressed a desire to play in the Premier League in the past.

Whether Galatasaray will agree to sell their most valued player remains uncertain. The club's willingness to negotiate would depend on the specific terms offered by the London side.
