Feyenoord contact Nigerian winger Daniel Job amid West Ham interest

Feyenoord have opened contact with Nigerian winger Daniel Job, who has attracted interest from West Ham and Lecce after a strong season in Norway.

Feyenoord have made contact with Kongsvinger winger Daniel Job as the Nigerian attacker prepares to leave Norway this summer. The 20-year-old is already being watched by West Ham United and Italian club Lecce.

Feyenoord head scout Micha Jansen spoke with Job after a Kongsvinger training session in Norway on Friday. The meeting points to serious interest from the Dutch club, although Feyenoord have not made a bid and there is no indication that a transfer is close.

Job has emerged as one of the most productive young attackers in Norway’s second tier. He has recorded seven goals and seven assists in 17 league appearances for Kongsvinger this season, playing 1,424 minutes. His output has helped bring attention from clubs in England, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The winger joined Kongsvinger from Sarpsborg 08 in February 2026, with the transfer completed on 11 February and clearance arriving the following day. He normally operates on the left but can also play on the right or in a central role. Job is right-footed and stands 1.74 metres tall.

West Ham and Lecce have been linked with offers worth about €4 million for the player, though it is unclear whether Kongsvinger accepted either proposal. Job’s current estimated value is around €1 million, highlighting how quickly his standing has grown during his first full campaign with the club.

Job began his senior career in Norway in 2024 after developing at Nigeria’s Future Pro Academy. He scored eight goals in 13 matches for Sarpsborg’s reserve team before making his Eliteserien debut in July that year. He also spent part of the 2025 season on loan at Egersund, where he scored three times in 12 league appearances, before returning to Sarpsborg and then moving to Kongsvinger.
