Fury and Joshua must agree on venue for November fight

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have yet to reach an agreement regarding the location for their heavyweight contest scheduled for November. Promoter Frank Warren has warned that the fight may be postponed or cancelled if both camps cannot settle on a venue.

Wembley Stadium in London was the original selection for the match. However, disagreements regarding start times have led to Madison Square Garden in New York becoming a preferred option following input from Saudi boxing official Turki Alalshikh. Anthony Joshua's promoter indicated that they would not have signed a contract if the event was scheduled to take place in the United States.

Warren stated that Tyson Fury has already signed an agreement that contains different terms. While the fight is expected to proceed, the promoter noted that the two sides must reach a consensus on the terms or the match will not take place as planned. The bout was originally intended for September, but a tragic accident involving Anthony Joshua, which resulted in the loss of two friends, caused delays.

Fury signed for the fight in January. Although the original timeline involved a warm-up fight in September, the current target for the heavyweight encounter is November. Warren confirmed that the venue will be announced once the parties reach an agreement.
