Ghana midfielder Edmond Asante joins H. Petah Tikva on loan

Ghanaian central midfielder Edmond Asante has left Vision FC for Israeli club H. Petah Tikva on loan in a move registered on 18 August 2026.

Edmond Asante has joined H. Petah Tikva on loan from Ghana Premier League side Vision FC, with the move registered on 18 August 2026. His agreement with the Israeli club runs until 30 June 2027.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian plays in central midfield and is taking up his first recorded club position outside Ghana. He moves from Vision’s Premier League squad to H. Petah Tikva in Israel’s Ligat ha’Al, marking an early change of league in his senior career.

The available terms do not state how long the loan itself will last or include an option for H. Petah Tikva to make the transfer permanent. No permanent transfer fee is attached to the deal. Asante’s listed market value is €25,000.

Born on 13 September 2006, Asante holds Ghanaian nationality and was previously registered with Vision FC. His move adds a Ghanaian central midfielder to H. Petah Tikva’s squad and gives him a new football environment as he continues his development.

Vision’s recent form before the switch was mixed, with three wins followed by two defeats. They beat Aduana Stars 3-0, Nations 1-0 and Karela 3-0, before losing 3-1 away to Young Apostles and 2-1 at home to Swedru All Blacks.

Vision are scheduled to face Young Apostles again in the Ghana Premier League on 5 September 2026. Asante’s departure leaves the club after that five-match sequence and begins his first recorded spell with a club beyond Ghana.
