Ghana midfielder Mawuli Mensah joins AD Ceuta FC on two-year deal
AD Ceuta FC have signed Ghanaian midfielder Mawuli Mensah for two seasons after his spell with Real Zaragoza in Spain.
Ghanaian midfielder Mawuli Mensah has joined AD Ceuta FC on a two-season contract, completing his move from Real Zaragoza. The 22-year-old now begins a new stage of his career in Spanish football.
Mensah was born in Accra on November 15, 2003. He is primarily a holding midfielder and is expected to add strength and energy to Ceuta’s central areas over the length of his agreement.
His game is built around covering ground and contributing at both ends of the pitch. Mensah can shield the defence from midfield while moving forward to support attacks when openings appear.
The Ghanaian also offers composure in possession. He is able to take the ball under pressure, move it out towards the wings and link with teammates, qualities that can help provide balance and improve control in midfield.
Mensah arrives at Ceuta after continuing his development with Real Zaragoza. His move gives him the opportunity to build on that experience while competing for a regular role in his new team.
Ceuta expect the midfielder’s physical qualities and energetic style to strengthen their squad. Mensah’s next challenge will be adapting to his new surroundings and translating his work rate and distribution into consistent performances across the two seasons.
