How UK fans will watch Super Eagles stars in the 2026/27 season

Nine Nigerians are set to feature for Premier League clubs in 2026/27, with UK viewers following established stars and new arrivals across several teams.

Nine Nigerians are set to play for Premier League clubs in the 2026/27 season, giving British viewers a strong group of Super Eagles talents to follow. The total matches the number of Americans in the league and is higher than the representation from Norway, Senegal and Northern Ireland.

Most Premier League coverage in the United Kingdom will remain split between Sky Sports and TNT Sports. Sky shows more than 210 matches live across Saturday afternoons, Sundays, Mondays and selected midweek dates, while TNT carries the early Saturday fixture and additional midweek games.

TNT’s schedule also gives it a central role for Nigerians involved in European football, as the broadcaster holds UEFA Champions League coverage. Its matches can also be streamed through the Warner Bros. entertainment platform following the arrival of HBO Max in the UK. Sky offers streaming through Now TV, while Amazon has a smaller set of Premier League broadcasts.

Fulham will provide one of the clearest Nigerian storylines, with Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi at the same club. Both have become dependable figures within the squad as Fulham continue their progress as a top-half team. Their next challenge comes under Álvaro Arbeloa, who replaced Marco Silva during the summer and brings a strong playing pedigree alongside ambitions for European football.

Coventry City have added two more Super Eagles players. Frank Onyeka arrived first before Taiwo Awoniyi joined from Nottingham Forest, bringing together former teammates as the club look for greater strength and speed in midfield and attack. Awoniyi’s former side will continue to feature Ola Aina, who is expected to fit into Oliver Glasner’s defensive approach.

There will also be interest in Nigerian players at Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion and Hull City. Semi Ajayi is set to have an important role at Hull, while the other clubs offer further opportunities for established and emerging Super Eagles players to gain attention during the new campaign. British fans will therefore encounter Nigeria’s talent across the main Premier League broadcasts and streaming services throughout 2026/27.
