Kasuka FC sign Ghana defender Stephen Halm after One Taguig exit

Kasuka FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian centre-back Stephen Halm from One Taguig. The 21-year-old defender was registered by the Brunei Super League club on 25 August 2026, ending his spell in Philippine football after one season.

Halm joined One Taguig after moving from Stallion Laguna in September 2025. His time with the club followed a free transfer from Stallion, where he had arrived in March 2024. He has now moved on to a new league and a different football environment with Kasuka.

The Accra-born defender made 33 appearances in the Philippines Football League during his career, scoring twice and supplying one assist. Those figures include his periods with both One Taguig and Stallion Laguna, where he built experience in Philippine domestic football.

Halm is 1.83 metres tall and operates as a right-footed central defender. His arrival gives Kasuka another player with experience from outside Brunei, while also adding a Ghanaian presence to the club’s squad.

Before his time in the Philippines, Halm was with TFA Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. His recent career has therefore taken him through football in the UAE and the Philippines before his latest move to the Brunei Super League.

The transfer continues Kasuka’s recruitment of an international player as the club strengthens its squad. For Halm, it represents a third recent footballing setting after his spells with Stallion Laguna and One Taguig, and a move into Brunei competition at the age of 21.
