KV Kortrijk interested in Aris Limassol's Alex Opoku Sarfo

Belgian side KV Kortrijk has expressed interest in Aris Limassol defensive midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo, who is currently under contract until 2028.

Belgian club KV Kortrijk has shown interest in Aris Limassol midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder is currently linked with a potential move to the Jupiler Pro League.

Sarfo is currently under contract with the Cypriot side until 31 May 2028. He recently returned to Aris Limassol at the end of June following a loan period with the Russian outfit Pari NN, where he had been playing since September 2025.

The Accra-born player has built a significant presence in the Cyprus League since joining Aris from Benab FC in July 2023. During his time in Cyprus, he has made 46 league appearances and recorded one assist. He also featured in nine matches during the league's championship round, where he scored one goal, and played in four Kypello Kyprou fixtures.

While interest from Kortrijk has been reported, no agreement has been confirmed between the two clubs. A transfer would see the midfielder move from the Cyprus League to the Belgian top flight. His current market value is estimated at €1m.

Before his recent loan in Russia, Sarfo spent a season on loan at AEZ Zakaki within the Cypriot league. He remains a player under contract in Limassol for nearly two more years.
