The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame held a joint ceremony in Las Vegas for its 2025 and 2026 classes, honouring 13 figures from boxing.
Thirteen boxing figures were inducted into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame as the organisation combined its 2025 and 2026 ceremonies at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The event brought together fans, champions and other figures from the sport for an evening centred on the history and influence of boxing in Nevada. Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame president Michelle Corrales-Lewis and co-founder Rich Marotta hosted the ceremony.
The 2025 class honoured figures recognised for their lasting contribution to boxing. The 2026 class added contemporary figures and international names to the hall’s list of inductees, extending its recognition across different eras and parts of the sport.
The ceremony also included five special awards. MVP Promotions received the Trailblazer Award, while Bill Caplin was presented with the Uncle Bill Award. Dave Moretti received the Marc of Distinction Award, Martha Vargas was honoured with the Yo Adrian Award, and Larry Wade received the President’s Excellence Award.
Several well-known boxing figures were present at the gathering, including Marco Antonio Barrera, James Toney, Fernando Vargas, Hasim Rahman, Shawn Porter, Regis Prograis and Floyd Mayweather Sr. Their attendance added further links between the hall’s new inductees and prominent names from recent boxing history.
The joint ceremony placed the 2025 and 2026 classes together in one event, with 13 inductees formally added to the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame. The occasion also highlighted the organisation’s role in preserving the sport’s legacy through its inductions and annual honours.
