Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Owoh signs for KFUM Oslo until 2030

Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Owoh has joined KFUM Oslo from Abuja academy P Sports on a contract running to 2030 after a successful winter trial.

Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Owoh has completed a move to Norwegian top-flight club KFUM Oslo from P Sports Football Academy in Abuja. The 2030 expiry on his long-term contract gives him a clear route into European football after impressing during a winter trial.

Owoh attracted KFUM’s technical staff during the trial period, where his performances persuaded the club to secure his services on a permanent basis. He will now continue his development in Oslo and compete for opportunities in the Eliteserien, Norway’s highest division.

The transfer is a major step from Nigeria’s academy system into senior professional football in Europe. Owoh leaves P Sports with the chance to work in a new environment, adapt to the demands of Norwegian top-flight football and test himself against established players in the division.

His next task will be to settle in Oslo and compete for a place in the KFUM squad. The length of the agreement reflects the club’s confidence in his potential and provides time for him to develop his game within the Norwegian side.

Owoh has indicated that he understands the move will bring a period of learning and adjustment. He is expected to focus on training, taking guidance from the coaching staff and making the most of his chances as he begins his career with KFUM.

Players Management Group brokered the deal. The move also adds to the pathway linking Nigerian grassroots academies with professional clubs in Europe, while giving Owoh a platform to continue his progress at the highest level of Norwegian football.
