Oscarine Masuluke begins training with Real Native FC

Former Stellenbosch FC goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke is currently training with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Real Native FC. The 33-year-old shot-stopper is preparing for the upcoming season with the club, which was previously known as Casric Stars.

Masuluke recently ended his tenure with the Cape Winelands outfit. He spent three seasons at Stellenbosch FC, where he made 30 appearances across all competitions. During his time with the club, he was part of the squad that secured the Carling Knockout Cup and reached the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, a campaign that ended in a loss to Simba SC two seasons ago.

The goalkeeper is widely recognized for his historic achievement in 2017. He became the first South African to finish in the top three of the FIFA Puskas Award. This recognition followed a 95th-minute bicycle kick he scored during a 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

His return to competitive football with Real Native FC follows his departure from the top flight. The veteran goalkeeper will now look to establish himself with the Motsepe Foundation Championship side as they prepare for their next campaign.
