Raja Casablanca linked with Ghanaian midfielder Michael Agbekpornu

Raja Casablanca has been linked with a move for Ghanaian midfielder Michael Agbekpornu. The 27-year-old central midfielder is currently a free agent following his exit from Spanish side SD Huesca on 1 July.

Agbekpornu's tenure in Spain was brief, lasting only five months after he arrived from Croatian club Slaven Belupo in February. During the 2025-26 season, the Ghana international made 10 appearances in LaLiga2 for Huesca. Interest from the Botola Pro Inwi side was noted on 15 August, though the transfer has not been confirmed and the player remains without a club.

The midfielder's career has seen him move through several European leagues. Before his time in Spain, he played for Slaven Belupo from July 2023 until his transfer to Huesca. While in the Croatian top flight, he made 63 appearances, scoring one goal and providing seven assists.

Prior to his move to Croatia, Agbekpornu spent two seasons in Albania with KF Egnatia. He was a member of the Egnatia squad that won the Albanian Cup during the 2022-23 season. He had joined the Albanian club in 2021 after leaving Dreams FC in Ghana.

His move to Huesca earlier this year followed a transfer from Slaven Belupo that was valued at €150,000. He is now looking for a new destination as Raja Casablanca emerges as a possible option for the midfielder.
