Ray J beats Orlando Brown after knockdown in Zeus Boxing bout

Ray J earned his first fighting win by decision over Orlando Brown after a knockdown in a chaotic Zeus Boxing bout at Atlanta's State Farm Arena.

Ray J claimed his first fighting victory by defeating Orlando Brown on the scorecards in a bizarre Zeus Boxing bout at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The rapper also recorded a knockdown of sorts during the opening round, when Brown’s hand touched the canvas.

The contest marked Ray J’s return after he was knocked out by Supah Hot Fire earlier in the year. That defeat came at Brand Risk Promotions 14, an event linked to Adin Ross, and left the rapper seeking a different outcome against Brown, a former Disney Channel star.

The size difference between the two men was obvious before the action began. Brown appeared considerably heavier for the bout, while Ray J arrived after a long ring walk that delayed the start. Security became involved as members of the rapper’s large entourage caused further disruption around the ring.

The first exchanges produced the bout’s earliest notable moment. Brown’s hand landed on the canvas, giving Ray J a knockdown to his name, although the sequence did not develop into sustained control. The second round became untidy, with both men grappling on the floor before throwing slow punches at close range.

Brown pressed forward more during that second round, but Ray J stayed behind his jab and appeared to avoid taking clean punches. The third was quieter, and the fight went to the scorecards after the final exchanges.

Ray J was awarded the decision, securing his first win in the ring despite Brown’s greater intensity during parts of the contest. The bout drew attention from prominent boxing figures in attendance, including Terence Crawford and Floyd Mayweather.
