Second Nigeria Golf Summit set for Abuja on August 26 and 27

The second Nigeria Golf Summit will be held in Abuja on August 26 and 27, with organisers aiming to connect golfers and stakeholders from across Nigeria. The event will take place at NICON Luxury Hotel.

Summit chairman Lawal Garba said the gathering would help participants identify and make better use of opportunities in their different areas. He also expressed satisfaction that the event is returning for a second edition.

The Nigeria Golf Federation is organising the summit, which is expected to bring together golfers and other figures linked to the sport under one roof. Garba said the meeting would create room for participants to build relationships and exchange ideas.

Garba, who is also chairman of Trobell Nigeria Limited, said the programme would focus on helping Nigerian golfers progress. He described the summit as an opportunity for participants to consider ways to improve their work and development within the sport.

He added that the wider advancement of golf in Nigeria would be an important subject during the Abuja meeting. Participants will also have the chance to learn more about golf while developing contacts beyond their usual professional circles.

Garba said the timing of the summit had increased his enthusiasm for the gathering. Its central aim is to use golf as a link between people from different fields while opening further prospects for those involved in the sport.
