Sevilla have unveiled Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Abrokwa after his move from Adabraka Elders. The forward has signed a three-year contract with the Spanish club, keeping him at Sevilla until June 2029.
Abrokwa completed the transfer on August 18 and will begin his time in Spain with Sevilla’s Under-19 team. The move represents his first departure from Ghana, where he began his playing career with Adabraka Elders.
The teenage forward is regarded as a promising prospect and will now work within Sevilla’s youth structure. His immediate task will be adapting to Spanish football while competing for a place and continuing his development with the U19 side.
Ghanaian agent Daniel Boifio Junior and Jorge Garcia of SBE Management helped arrange the transfer. Their involvement facilitated Abrokwa’s move from Ghana to Sevilla and his entry into the club’s academy system.
Sevilla have started the 2026 LaLiga campaign in third place with three points from one match, having recorded a 2-1 victory and scored two goals while conceding one. Their recent sequence also includes wins over AD Ceuta FC and Juventud Torremolinos, draws against Cordoba, and defeats by Cracovia Krakow and Celta de Vigo.
The senior side’s next LaLiga fixture is away to Athletic Club on August 22. Abrokwa’s initial focus, however, will be the U19 setup as he settles into Spanish football and seeks to progress towards Sevilla’s first team.
