UFC 330: Neil Magny targets Jim Miller after Ramiz Brahimaj TKO

Neil Magny stopped Ramiz Brahimaj by TKO at UFC 330 and says age and durability could help him chase Jim Miller’s UFC wins record.

Neil Magny stopped Ramiz Brahimaj by TKO at UFC 330 in Philadelphia, then turned his attention to Jim Miller and the UFC’s all-time wins record. Magny believes his own longevity could eventually allow him to close the gap on the veteran lightweight.

The victory also strengthened Magny’s immediate goal of returning to the UFC welterweight rankings. He spent almost a decade ranked in the division, from 2014 through 2024, but 2025 was the first year since joining the promotion that he did not hold a ranking spot.

Magny now wants another fight on a quick turnaround, with the aim of using that opportunity to re-enter the rankings before deciding on his next longer-term target. His win over Brahimaj gives him a fresh platform after losing his ranked position.

The 38-year-old’s record in the promotion places him among its leading winners. Magny has 25 UFC victories in 38 fights, putting him level with Charles Oliveira for second place on the promotion’s overall wins list. Miller leads with 28 wins from 47 UFC appearances.

Magny sees time and durability as possible advantages in that pursuit. He considers Miller capable of continuing to compete until 50 fights if he chooses, but believes the difference in timing and physical durability could eventually give him a chance to overtake him.

Magny also reflected on how far his career has progressed since he began the journey 20 years ago. He is one of only three fighters with at least 25 UFC wins, alongside Miller and Oliveira, a milestone he described as surprising even to him as the numbers continue to accumulate.

His mother watched the Brahimaj stoppage from the stands in Philadelphia. Magny said he remains grateful for the opportunity to compete for as long and as often as possible while adding to a career that has produced records he never expected to set.
