Aduana face venue uncertainty as GFA clears 14 Ghana GPL stadiums

Aduana’s Nana Agyemang Badu Park is absent from the GFA’s 14 approved venues, with the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League due to start in September.

Aduana FC are among the Ghana Premier League clubs without an approved home venue after the Ghana Football Association cleared 14 stadiums for the 2026/27 season. The club’s Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa was not included in the list issued after inspections by the GFA Club Licensing Department.

Aduana must now secure approval for the ground or identify another stadium before the campaign begins. The club’s home venue remains outside the approved group, leaving its arrangements for home fixtures unresolved with the new season scheduled to start between September 4 and 7.

Young Apostles are facing the same issue because Wenchi Sports Stadium was also omitted. All Blacks’ proposed venue in Swedru and Vision FC’s Nii Adjei Kraku II venue are likewise not among the grounds cleared at this stage.

Several prominent clubs have already received confirmation for their home grounds. Asante Kotoko will use Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, while Hearts of Oak have been cleared to host matches at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The other approved venues are Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Duns Park in Bibiani, Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Sambreboi, TnA Stadium in Tarkwa and Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem. The list also includes AAK II Sports Arena and Tuba Astro Turf.

Golden City Park in Berekum, Nana Boamah Darko II Park in Kukurantumi and Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi complete the 14 approved venues. Clubs still awaiting clearance have limited time to settle their stadium plans before the Ghana Premier League returns.
