2026-27 Ghana Premier League TV schedule set for Matchday 1
TV3, Onua TV and Adesa+ will carry two selected matches when the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League opens on September 5 and 6.
The broadcast schedule for Matchday 1 of the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League has been confirmed, with two fixtures selected for live coverage on September 5 and 6, 2026. Both matches have been listed for a 15:00 kick-off.
TV3 and Onua TV will show the selected games on television, while supporters will also be able to follow the action through the Adesa+ streaming platform. The three outlets are the competition’s designated broadcast partners.
The first fixture brings Port City up against FC AshantiGold at Nana Boamah Darko II Park in Kukurantumi. The match is part of the opening weekend’s television offering and is scheduled to begin at 15:00.
The other televised game features Hearts of Oak against Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium. That meeting also carries a 15:00 start time and forms the second selected fixture for the first matchday.
The announcement gives supporters access to two of the league’s opening matches across both television and streaming platforms. It also confirms that the first round of the 2026-27 campaign will be covered over Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, with the selected games divided across those two dates.
Port City’s meeting with FC AshantiGold and Hearts of Oak’s match against Berekum Chelsea therefore make up the initial broadcast selections for the new Premier League season. Viewers can use TV3 or Onua TV for live television coverage, while Adesa+ provides the additional online option.
