FC Samartex complete Hamza Musah signing for Ghana Premier League
FC Samartex have signed 20-year-old Eleven Wonders defender Hamza Musah on a four-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
FC Samartex have completed the signing of Eleven Wonders defender Hamza Musah on a four-year contract. The Ghana Premier League club announced the move on Friday, August 21, adding the 20-year-old to its squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Musah made seven league appearances for Eleven Wonders during the 2025/26 campaign. He now moves to Samartex after a season in which his former club were relegated from the Ghana Premier League.
The defender’s arrival strengthens an area Samartex have identified for improvement as they prepare for the new campaign. Musah is regarded as a player who can provide additional depth and defensive strength in the backline.
Samartex ended the 2025/26 league season in fifth place with 50 points. Their record included 13 victories, 11 draws and 10 defeats, a return the club will seek to improve during the next campaign.
The signing forms part of Samartex’s efforts to build a stronger squad after that fifth-place finish. The club are targeting a better showing in 2026/27, with Musah joining as a young defensive option following Eleven Wonders’ relegation.
Musah will begin the next stage of his career with the Timber Giants under a deal running for four years. Samartex will now have the defender available as preparations continue for the new Ghana Premier League season.
