Ghana winger Clinton Duodu emerges as Turkish club Sivasspor target
Sivasspor are interested in Ghana winger Clinton Duodu, who remains contracted to Apollon Limassol until May 2027.
Ghana winger Clinton Duodu has emerged as a target for Sivasspor, with the Turkish club monitoring the 21-year-old Apollon Limassol player. Sivasspor compete in Turkey’s 1.Lig, while Duodu remains tied to the Cypriot club until 31 May 2027.
The interest in Duodu surfaced on 18 August 2026 as he continues to compete for a place in Apollon’s squad during the early part of the 2026-27 season. Any move would require Apollon and Sivasspor to reach an agreement over his departure.
Duodu has played in three of Apollon’s four possible UEFA Conference League qualifying matches this season. He has not started any of those games and has yet to record either a goal or an assist.
The Ghanaian is principally used as a right winger and wears Apollon’s number 17 shirt. He joined the Limassol side from Bechem United on 6 September 2024, beginning his spell at the club before the current campaign.
Duodu’s listed market value is €350,000, but no transfer fee has been disclosed. There is also no agreement between the clubs, and no indication has been given that a deal is close to completion.
For now, the proposed move remains at the interest stage, with Duodu still under contract and competing for opportunities at Apollon. His recent European appearances have come from the bench, leaving his position in the squad under competition as Sivasspor’s interest develops.
