Kevin De Bruyne’s 2026 net worth, contracts and endorsements outlined

Kevin De Bruyne’s 2026 financial profile is valued at $130m, with major earnings from Manchester City, Napoli, Nike and Therabody.

Kevin De Bruyne’s net worth is estimated at $130 million in 2026, while his career earnings have passed $180 million. The Belgian midfielder’s wealth has been built through major Manchester City contracts, his move to Napoli and commercial partnerships outside football.

De Bruyne joined Manchester City from the Belgian Pro League for a club-record £55 million fee. His initial City salary was reported at £150,000 per week in 2015 before successive improvements increased his earnings. A 2021 extension eventually placed his weekly pay at about £400,000, making him the Premier League’s highest-paid player at that point.

The contract also contained performance-related additions. Champions League qualification, individual awards including the PFA Player of the Year prize, assist targets and loyalty payments were among the reported incentives. Those clauses were estimated to have added between £2 million and £4 million to his annual gross income. De Bruyne negotiated the extension without a conventional agent, representing himself in discussions with the club.

His City spell ended with a free transfer to Napoli in 2025. The move allowed him to negotiate a signing-on payment, while his Napoli package has been valued at approximately €12 million net per year. That figure makes him the Italian club’s highest earner, although it remains below his Manchester City pay. Italy’s tax arrangements for foreign athletes were also identified as a factor in the decision.

De Bruyne’s commercial interests have expanded beyond his football wages. Nike is described as his biggest endorsement partner, with an agreement worth more than $3 million each year and a prominent role in the brand’s football boot business. He is also a global ambassador for recovery company Therabody and is reported to hold equity in the business.

The wider portfolio includes technology start-ups, recovery and wellness ventures and luxury property. His financial rise followed a decade at City in which he won six Premier League titles and was part of the team that completed the 2022-23 European Treble. His Napoli move has kept his earnings and commercial profile at a high level at age 35.
