Mohamed Salah moves into former Anthony Nwakaeme home

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan has confirmed that Mohamed Salah is living in the same residence formerly used by Anthony Nwakaeme. The Egyptian forward has moved into the property following his transfer to the Super Lig club.

Doğan addressed recent images and reports regarding the accommodation provided for the new signing. He explained that the club has arranged several properties in Trabzon, including villas and standard houses, for their players. He noted that the specific house Salah is currently using is the one Nwakaeme occupied during his time with the team.

Anthony Nwakaeme, a former Super Eagles forward, became a free agent after his contract with the Turkish Cup winners expired at the conclusion of last season. During his two separate stints with Trabzonspor, the 37-year-old recorded 50 goals and 48 assists across 193 appearances.

The club president suggested that the recent scrutiny regarding Salah's housing is linked to public dissatisfaction with his transfer to the club. Doğan stated that people may be making up falsehoods due to their discomfort with the Egyptian's arrival at Trabzonspor.

He maintained that the club has provided suitable housing and questioned the existence of other properties in Trabzon that could match the quality of the current residence. He dismissed the circulating claims as unnecessary fuss.
