Zimbabwe rugby star Manyarara lands OXEN Sports partnership deal
Racing 92 back-rower Shingirai Manyarara has joined OXEN Sports as an athlete after breaking through in France’s Top 14.
Zimbabwe rugby player Shingirai Manyarara has joined OXEN Sports as an official athlete, adding a commercial partnership to his growing career with French club Racing 92. The 22-year-old forward will represent the sportswear company while continuing to develop in the Top 14.
Manyarara will use OXEN rugby boots under the agreement and will take part in projects linked to Kingswood College in South Africa. The school played a key role in his early development before he progressed into professional rugby.
The Racing 92 back-rower moved to the Paris-based club in 2023 after his time at Kingswood College and involvement with Zimbabwe’s Under-20 side. He broke into professional rugby during the 2024-25 season and became a regular part of Racing’s squad in the 2025-26 campaign.
His rise has also secured a longer-term future at Racing. Manyarara has signed his first professional contract with the club until 2029, following performances that contributed to Racing’s run to the Top 14 semi-finals last season.
OXEN chief executive Lee Jenkinson said Manyarara matched the company’s plans as it builds a stronger presence in French rugby. The brand has identified the Zimbabwean as one of the developing forwards in the competition and added him to its athlete roster.
The partnership gives Manyarara a platform beyond his club role, combining his profile in France with activities connected to his former school. It also reflects the progress he has made since representing Zimbabwe at Under-20 level and entering the Racing 92 system.
