Attram De Visser win 1-0 for third in X1 Energy Drink DOL Super Cup

Attram De Visser claimed third place in the X1 Energy Drink DOL Super Cup with a 1-0 victory over Nsuopun Fidelity. The winning goal arrived during the four minutes of stoppage time at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

The decisive moment followed a cross from Thomas Okyere, which unsettled the Nsuopun Fidelity defence. Dickson Felix Kwakye Yeboah turned the ball into his own net, giving Attram De Visser victory in the closing stages.

Attram De Visser had started the playoff with the stronger attacking display and created several chances before the interval. Their pressure did not produce a goal, however, and the teams went into half-time level.

Nsuopun Fidelity improved after the restart and began the second half with greater purpose. Neither side managed to score during regulation time, leaving the match to be settled by the late error in the Nsuopun Fidelity defence.

Both teams had entered the third-place playoff after losing in the semi-finals. Nsuopun Fidelity had been knocked out by Ebusua Dwarfs after a goalless draw and a 3-2 defeat on penalties, while Attram De Visser lost 1-0 to Semper Fi after conceding in the 90th minute.

The result places Attram De Visser third in the competition. They finished the X1 DOL Super Cup with six goals scored, while Nsuopun Fidelity ended the tournament without the consolation of a podium finish.
