FEASSA 2026: Oasis Primary School claim two football wins, 3-0 and 2-1
Oasis Primary School recorded a 3-0 win over Kenya and a 2-1 victory against Tanzania’s Kibamba at the FEASSA Games in Morogoro.
Oasis Primary School strengthened their FEASSA 2026 campaign with two victories in Monday’s U-15 football programme in Morogoro, Tanzania. The Arua City-based boys first defeated Kenyan opposition 3-0 before edging Tanzania’s Kibamba Primary School 2-1 later in the day.
The opening match was played in the morning at Morogoro Secondary School playground. Oasis controlled the result with a three-goal margin, giving the Ugandan side a strong start to a demanding double-header.
Their second fixture was closer, with Oasis securing a 2-1 success against Kibamba, a school from Dar-es-Salaam. Jamil Sudais and Rafael Munguci scored for Oasis, while Jeremia Zakaria provided Kibamba’s only goal.
The two wins took Oasis Primary School’s boys’ team to three victories in the championship. The result keeps the school’s strong run intact, although no competition table position has been provided. The team’s captain, Munguci, said the players had committed fully to both matches and wanted to continue at the same level.
Oasis’ girls’ team has had a more difficult tournament. They lost 1-0 to Kenya on Monday, a result that represented their second defeat in the competition. The contrasting records leave the boys’ side as the school’s leading performers so far in the football programme.
The FEASSA Games bring together primary and secondary schools alongside Special Needs Children competitors. Tanzania is hosting the 2026 edition, with Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi also participating. The championship, which includes volleyball, netball, handball and athletics as well as football, is marking its 23rd year.
