Marco Romero headlines three-fight PBC prelims for Rolly-Teofimo

Undefeated middleweight Marco Romero will headline the PBC Prelims against Kahlil Mitchell before Rolly Romero faces Teofimo Lopez in Las Vegas.

Marco Romero will headline an eight-round fight against Kahlil Mitchell as part of a three-bout PBC Prelims card on August 22. The programme will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas before the evening’s pay-per-view main card featuring Rolly Romero and Teofimo Lopez.

The prelims will stream on DAZN and Prime Video from 6 p.m. ET, or 3 p.m. PT. The broadcast will lead into the four-fight pay-per-view event, which begins at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT on the same platforms.

Romero, a 20-year-old from Overland Park, Kansas, is unbeaten at 14-0 with 12 knockouts. Eleven of those stoppages have come inside the first three rounds. He turned professional in 2024 after winning 23 national amateur titles, including the 2024 National Golden Gloves tournament, where he was named its outstanding boxer. He has added three wins against progressively stronger opposition in 2026.

Mitchell brings a 6-1 record and four knockouts into the contest. The 30-year-old Chattanooga fighter recovered from his only defeat, a majority-decision loss to Jamar Pemberton in December 2024, with consecutive knockout victories. He entered that setback on a four-fight winning run.

The other prelims will see unbeaten super welterweight Joseph Brown face Alton Wiggins in a four- or six-round bout. Brown is 7-0 with five knockouts, while Wiggins has a 3-2-1 record. Super lightweight prospect Aldo Blancas will also meet Ricky Mamone over four rounds. Blancas is 2-0 with two stoppages, and Mamone is 0-0-1 after drawing with Dillan Nguyen on his professional debut.

The pay-per-view card will be topped by WBA welterweight champion Rolly Romero’s first title defence against two-weight world champion Teofimo Lopez. TGB Promotions is staging the event with Takeover Promotions.
