Frank Junior Adjei scores in Hammarby's 4-0 Allsvenskan win

Ghanaian midfielder Frank Junior Adjei scored Hammarby’s opener in a 4-0 away victory over Kalmar FF in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Frank Junior Adjei scored as Hammarby IF defeated Kalmar FF 4-0 away in the Swedish Allsvenskan, helping the Stockholm club strengthen its position near the top of the table. Kalmar suffered another difficult home result as Hammarby controlled the match from before half-time.

Adjei put Hammarby ahead in the 43rd minute. Amin Boudri created the opening, and the Ghanaian midfielder finished by sending his shot beyond Kalmar goalkeeper Samuel Brolin. The goal gave Hammarby a lead to take into the interval and reflected the visitors’ control of the first half.

Hammarby added a second only three minutes after the restart. Frederik Winther converted Victor Lind’s assist in the 48th minute, leaving Kalmar with a two-goal deficit and a demanding task in the remaining minutes.

The visitors extended their advantage in the 54th minute when Noah Persson scored from another Boudri-created move. Paulos Abraham then completed the scoring seven minutes later, with Lind providing the final pass for Hammarby’s fourth goal.

The result was built on Hammarby’s attacking efficiency and their ability to prevent Kalmar from mounting a response. Adjei left the field in the 74th minute after a productive contribution and finished with a Sofascore rating of 8.1.

Hammarby’s latest victory keeps the club close to the top end of the Allsvenskan standings. Kalmar, meanwhile, were left to absorb another home defeat after conceding four times, with Hammarby’s four-goal margin underlining the difference between the teams on the day.
