PSL announces ticket sales for 2026 MTN8 semi-final matches

Tickets for the 2026 MTN8 semi-finals are now on sale, with the PSL confirming the schedule for the competition’s last four. Defending champions Orlando Pirates will meet Sekhukhune United, while Mamelodi Sundowns face Lamontville Golden Arrows in the other tie.

The first semi-final begins on Saturday, 22 August, when Sekhukhune United host Orlando Pirates at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. The match is scheduled to start at 15h00, giving Sekhukhune home advantage in the opening leg against the holders.

Sundowns will host Golden Arrows in the first leg of the second semi-final on Sunday, 23 August. That match will take place at Lucas Moripe Stadium, with kick-off also set for 15h00.

The return fixtures are scheduled for the following weekend. Orlando Pirates will welcome Sekhukhune United to Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday, 29 August, while Golden Arrows will host Sundowns at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday, 30 August. Both second legs are due to begin at 15h00.

The four clubs are competing for places in the 2026 MTN8 final. Pirates enter the semi-final stage as the defending champions, while Sekhukhune, Sundowns and Golden Arrows will attempt to prevent them from retaining the trophy.

Tickets cost R100 and can be bought at Open Tickets outlets across the country, including Shoprite, Checkers and USave stores. Supporters can also purchase them online through opentickets.co.za. The PSL has urged spectators to secure their tickets early for the four matches.
