Silver Strikers add Morning Dew as Malawi Super League sponsors

Silver Strikers have added Morning Dew to their growing group of commercial partners through a season-long bottled-water agreement with Malawi Catering Services. The club lead the 2026 Malawi Super League with 28 points from 13 matches, having won eight, drawn four and lost once.

Under the partnership, Malawi Catering Services will supply the Central Bankers with bottled water carrying its Morning Dew brand for the rest of the season. The agreement gives the club an additional commercial connection while they compete at the top of the league table.

The deal was unveiled at Malawi Catering Services’ offices at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe. The company’s general manager, Davie Kampeni, said Silver Strikers had approached the business directly and presented a proposal that persuaded its management to support the club.

Kampeni explained that the club’s request, together with the strength of the Morning Dew brand and the quality of its proposal, led to a quick decision to approve the partnership. The arrangement is the latest addition to Silver Strikers’ expanding list of sponsorships and business relationships.

Silver Strikers business development manager Uthenji Kayambo Nyanda thanked Malawi Catering Services for identifying the value of the club. She also encouraged supporters to purchase Morning Dew bottled water, linking the fans’ support for the product with the new relationship.

The sponsorship arrives during a strong league campaign for Silver Strikers. Their recent five-match sequence includes two wins and three draws, with victories over Karonga United and Red Lions FC alongside stalemates against Mitundu Baptist, Chitipa United and CIVO United. They have scored 23 goals and conceded five overall, and are scheduled to host Dedza Dynamos on 13 September 2026.
