Southampton begin ticket sales for Portsmouth south coast derby

Southampton have opened an initial ticket window for the Portsmouth visit to St Mary’s on Sunday 11 October, with strict booking-history rules.

Southampton have opened the first ticket sales window for Portsmouth’s visit to St Mary’s on Sunday 11 October. The south coast derby is scheduled to begin at midday, but access to the initial sale is limited to supporters who meet the club’s booking-history requirements.

Eligible fans must have bought at least one competitive Southampton men’s first-team match ticket between the 2020/21 and 2025/26 seasons. They must also have purchased a ticket for at least one competitive men’s first-team fixture during the 2026/27 season.

Supporters who do not yet meet the current-season requirement can buy a membership or a match ticket for a 2026/27 fixture and then become eligible to purchase a Portsmouth ticket shortly afterwards. The club has not yet confirmed the rules for any additional sales windows.

Southampton have said every ticket holder will need to demonstrate previous booking history with the club. Because the allocation is limited, season-ticket holders are not expected to receive a separate opportunity to buy extra tickets for the derby.

Away supporters will travel to the stadiums under the same arrangements used last season. Southampton will provide further information about the match in the weeks ahead, while the opening window is intended to prioritise fans with an established purchasing record.

Hospitality packages are also available for the 2026/27 season, both on a seasonal basis and for individual matches. The options include premium dining, views beside the pitch, club restaurants and sports bars, with packages available for supporters attending with friends, family or colleagues.
