Sivasspor sign Ghanaian midfielder Musah Mohammed on 2028 deal
Ghanaian holding midfielder Musah Mohammed has joined Sivasspor from Goztepe, signing a contract that runs until summer 2028.
Sivasspor have completed the signing of Ghanaian holding midfielder Musah Mohammed, who joined the Turkish club on 18 August 2026. The 24-year-old has agreed to remain with the 1. Lig side until the summer of 2028.
Mohammed arrives from Goztepe after spending the second half of the previous campaign with the club. His stay there lasted six months, following his move from Bodrum FK on 5 February 2026. Bodrum FK received €300,000 for that transfer, while no fee has been disclosed for Mohammed’s move to Sivasspor.
The Accra-born midfielder is 1.92 metres tall and uses his right foot. His main position is defensive midfield, where he operates at the base of the midfield and is expected to add another specialist option to Sivasspor’s squad.
Mohammed has not played for Sivasspor in the 2026-27 1. Lig campaign. His transfer was completed before he made an appearance for the club, leaving his competitive debut still to come.
The move continues a career spent largely in Turkish football. Mohammed started at Bectero FC before joining Ankaraspor in January 2021. He then spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Eyupspor and returned to Ankaraspor after that spell.
In July 2022, Mohammed left Ankaraspor for Bodrum FK on a free transfer. His subsequent move to Goztepe came in February 2026, before Sivasspor secured his latest switch. The new contract gives the Ghanaian midfielder a long-term opportunity to establish himself in Sivasspor’s midfield.
