Attram De Visser claim X1 DOL Super Cup third place with 1-0 win

Attram De Visser secured third place in the 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup after a late own goal gave them a 1-0 victory over Nsuopun Fidelity.

Attram De Visser finished third in the 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup after defeating Nsuopun Fidelity 1-0 in the playoff at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium. The deciding goal arrived in the fourth minute of added time.

The two teams were contesting the consolation match after falling short in their semi-finals. Nsuopun Fidelity had drawn 0-0 with Ebusua Dwarfs before losing the resulting shootout 3-2, while Attram De Visser were beaten 1-0 by Semper Fi after conceding in the 90th minute.

Attram De Visser were the more threatening side early on and fashioned several openings, but their pressure did not produce a goal before the interval. Nsuopun Fidelity stayed in the contest as the score remained level at half-time.

Nsuopun Fidelity improved after the restart, making the second half more even. Both teams continued to struggle in the final stages of their attacks, and neither could find the finish needed to settle the match during normal time.

The breakthrough came after the referee added four minutes. Thomas Okyere sent a cross into the Nsuopun Fidelity area, where the defensive response broke down. Dickson Felix Kwakye Yeboah inadvertently directed the ball into his own goal, giving Attram De Visser the lead at the latest possible stage.

Attram De Visser held on to take third place and completed the competition with six goals scored. Nsuopun Fidelity, who had also been denied in the semi-final shootout, ended the Super Cup in fourth position after the narrow playoff defeat.
